SOFTWARE: NVivo for Windows - Annual License Renewal

Description: NVivo is a specialized package for use in Qualitative Data Analysis. This package is available through a volume license purchase by the Office of Information Technology. You need to renew in order to obtain new license codes to allow your copy to continue to run.

If you are running version 7, you must renew your copy before you can upgrade to version 8.

ELIGIBILITY: Faculty and staff. Software may also be installed in student labs through purchase of the necessary number of copies.

RESTRICTIONS: The software may used on the main and regional campuses and on your personally owned computer.

PURCHASE:

• New users: the software may be purchased at the IT Service Desk, 025 Central Classrooms, with OSU funds (e.g., 100- W) only. The cost per copy of each package is $33 for one license and the media. The cost of a license only is $28. This will allow you to use the software until July 1, 2010 at which time you will pay a fee for the next year if you wish to continue using the software.
• Existing users: you will pay the same fees as noted above to renew your copy. If you purchased your copy on May 1, 2009 or thereafter you do not need to renew until May of 2010.

DISTRIBUTION METHOD: The software is distributed at the IT Service Desk, 025 Central Classrooms. The media is CDROM.
