SOFTWARE: Mathematica for Faculty and Staff Version 7.01 for Windows, Macintosh and Linux
Description: Mathematica is a powerful technical computing system. Used by people in science, industry, and academia, Mathematica combines fast, high-precision numeric and symbolic computation with easy-to-use data visualization and programming capabilities. Mathematica creates publication-quality documents with its customizable, cross-platform file format.
A license for Mathematica was obtained by the College of Math and Physical Sciences. The Office of Information Technology, in collaboration with the College of Math and Physical Sciences, is supporting distribution of Mathematica using OSU Software Downloads. There is no fee for this software.

ELIGIBILITY: OSU Faculty and Staff members
RESTRICTIONS: This software may be used on OSU-owned machines or personal machines in support of instruction of academic research. Research laboratories are not eligible unless their primary mission is the direct teaching of students.
PURCHASE: There is currently no fee. However, this software may be subject to an annual renewal of the license code. This runs from Sept. to Sept. of the next year.

Then, navigate to the desired platform tab and select the "Mathematica" entry. When you select this entry and proceed to download the software you will be authenticated as current faculty/staff and will have a link to download the software to your computer. When you download the software this will provide you also with a "readme.pdf" file. This file contains instructions on how to complete the registration and licensing procedures.
COST WITHOUT SITE LICENSE ARRANGEMENTS: The cost of the product for a single copy license is $1,095 for the educational edition.
