SOFTWARE: VirusScan 9 for Macintosh [AKA McAfee Security for Mac 1]
DESCRIPTION: This is a desktop program for detecting and removing computer viruses and now spyware as well. New features in this release include:
PLATFORM: Macintosh with Power PC or Intel-based processor.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: MacOS 10.4.6 or higher (including 10.6); minimum of 300 MB free hard disk space; 1 GB RAM; and Internet access VirusScan for Mac integrates with ePolicy Orchestrator version 4.0.
ELIGIBILITY: Faculty, staff and students.
RESTRICTIONS: The software may be used on main and regional campuses and on your home computer. You have the right to use the software while affiliated with Ohio State University. The software must be left with your department and/or removed from your home computer should you leave OSU as the licenses are owned by OSU.
PURCHASE: This version is distributed electronically. No purchase is required.
COST WITHOUT SITE LICENSE ARRANGEMENTS: The price per license in a 3 pack is approximately $36 per license.
