SOFTWARE: Fetch 5.3 for Macintosh Mac OS X
          

Description: Fetch is a program that enables you to connect to a 
remote computer to send and retrieve files using  the File 
Transfer Protocol (FTP) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) on 
a TCP/IP network such as the Internet. New features include: 

- Full compatibility with Mac OS X Leopard (10.5). 
- Updated appearance to match the unified Leopard look.
- Upload files to servers using Copy and Paste commands.

Many more problem corrections were made. See Help, then "What's 
New" for a link to Release Notes. This provides a complete list of 
changes.   

PLATFORM: Macintosh with PowerMac or Intel processor.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Mac OS X 10.3.9 through Mac OS X 10.5; 64 MB 
RAM; 55 MB hard disk space for the program. Note that Fetch 
5.x can not be run on Mac OS Classic systems.  

ELIGIBILITY: Faculty, staff and students. 

RESTRICTIONS: The software may used on the main and regional 
campuses and on your personally owned computer. 

PURCHASE: No purchase is necessary. 
 

COST WITHOUT SITE LICENSE ARRANGEMENTS: Users at educational 
institutions are able to obtain a free license. OIT has obtained 
an educational license and distributes locally as a convenience 
to the OSU community. 

DISTRIBUTION METHOD: The software is distributed electronically.

DOCUMENTATION: Installation instructions are on the web pages. An 
extensive Help feature is included with the Fetch distribution. 
This includes a Fetch Tutorial, Quick Guide, and complete
