Manage Timekeeping


Course Description:

The Manage Timekeeping course provides current Human Resources users with an understanding of the business processes and principles of managing timekeeping in the OSU Human Resources system at OSU. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Enter time for biweekly and monthly employees.
  • Enter prior period adjustments.
  • Manage timekeeping exceptions.
  • Approve timekeeping.
  • Review and adjust leave balances.
  • Manage Family Medical Leave (FML).
  • Maintain timekeeping groups.

There also will be a discussion of the Human Resources reports used to manage the timekeeping process.

Prerequisites:

None.

Course Length:

8 hour Instructor-led course conducted in a computer lab with hands-on practice.

Audience:

This course is recommended for all HR users designated as Timekeepers or those who approve Timekeeping.
