General Funds Budgeting
Course Description:
This course explains the General Funds budgeting process in the on-line system. Participants will learn to enter budgets into on-line panels and practice other methods of loading General Funds budget information into the system. This course also explains how to inquire on General Funds budget information and access General Funds budget reports.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Prepare General Funds budgets.
- Run General Funds budget reports.
- Freeze General Funds budgets.
Prerequisites:
Basic computer skills using Windows and a Web browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer).
Course Length:
4 hour Instructor-led course in a computer lab with hands-on practice.
Audience:
This course is recommended for personnel involved in the General Funds budgeting process, as designated by their college fiscal officers.
